Meringue base Choco chunk cookies

Had a great accidental recipe for Chocolate chunk cookies the other day, I was trying to make meringue cookies, but the meringue wouldn't peak so I used the egg whites and sugar as a base for my usual choco chip recipe and it turned out super chewy and delicious if you want to give it a try.

4 egg whites beaten with 240 grams of white granulated sugar.
then add 1 cup of butter
1 cup brown sugar
2.5-3 cups of flour (stop at lumpy not dry)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup of chocolate chips

Forty-nine million Americans lack access to adequate food, and in that are the 17 million children (that's 1 in 5) who go to bed every night wondering where their next meal will come from.

Please make a gift. When you Share Your Season, you'll help provide needy children with the opportunity to thrive. And, as a way of saying "thank you," the blogger community is doing a giveaway.

Some lucky donors will be selected at random to win one of the items listed on the right. No matter what your donation, $5 or $5,000, everyone has a chance to win.

From our kitchen to yours, happy holidays; and thank you so much for any amount you're able to give.
